Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the leadership team to create effective strategies to promote and optimize the AMI brand and establish the organization as a provider of choice for diagnostic and interventional radiological services.
Essential Duties
- Works closely alongside the leadership team in the creation of marketing initiatives and communications to reach target audiences through appropriate medium (e.g., social media, websites, digital board, email, radio, television, print collateral, press releases, local events, etc.).
- Creates written and/or visual content that engages with key audiences and increases brand awareness.
- Creates draft press releases for management review.
- Reviews external and internal marketing collateral on a regular basis to ensure proper brand voice, style and tone throughout all communications.
- Interacts with designated marketing vendors and oversees orders of marketing materials and promotional items.
- Keeps digital marketing materials current; audits website content; tests website functions and integrations; interfaces with web developer to oversee enhancements and fixes.
- Grows social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and others.
- Creates and manages content calendars for social media platforms.
- Monitors social media outlets for opportunities to promote targeted lines of business; increase brand awareness and connect with target audiences.
- Monitors and analyzes the organization’s patient experience surveys, Google Reviews and public comments received via social media. Collaborates with leadership to determine appropriate response or action.
- Builds and maintains effective business relationships with referring providers and/or practice administrators by means of visiting the customer’s facility to provide educational or promotional materials.
- Plans and coordinates company events for physicians and referring providers.
- Engages in community relations activities representing AMI at community meetings and events. Identifies opportunities for sponsorships and donations. Assists with organizing community relations plans and programs.
- Collaborates with Director of Human Resources to plan, coordinate and execute employee engagement events/activities, e.g., holiday party, employee recognition events, provider team building events, etc.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for creating content across website, blogs, social media, industry articles, web advertisements, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including professional, creative approaches to internal and external marketing and communication platforms
- Ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem analysis and problem resolution skills
- Experience collaborating successfully, including excellence in customer service and customer satisfaction
- Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and an independent, accountable, dependable performer
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, security and standards of ethics with all information
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent project management skills
- Must be able to work rapidly, under pressure, and with frequent interruptions
- Ability to influence others to achieve results
- Basic graphic design skills and knowledge
- Excellent computer skills including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Photoshop, Constant Contact, and Social Media Platforms
- Ability to travel locally
- Ability to work extended hours on occasion, including some weekends and evenings
- Regularly and consistently demonstrates commitment to organization values
Certifications & Licensure
- Valid driver’s license
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three to five years of experience in digital and traditional marketing, corporate communications and/or public/media relations
- Experience in Healthcare services environment preferred
